This week in Room 11 - Aug. 31-Sept. 4

This week we are learning the following skills:

Reading:  Use information from illustrations and words to demonstrate understanding of its characters, setting, and plot

Spelling:  VCe syllable patterns

Math:  subtraction facts, addition and subtraction word problems

Language:  capitalization and punctuation

Spelling Words:  crate, stroke, glide, woke, plate, pride, reptile, naptime, mistake

High Frequency Words:  another, don't, kind, put, saw, sound

Homework:  

Daily:  Study spelling words, read "The Lime Cake"

Monday:  Reading passage

Tuesday:  Math, get test papers signed and return on Wednesday

Wednesday:  capitalization and punctuation

Thursday:  Write spelling words 4 times each
