Learning in Room 11 -- November 16-20

This week we will work on the following skills:

Reading:  identify the main purpose of a text, including what the author wants to answer, explain, or describe; describe how reasons support specific points the author makes in a text

Math:  graphs

Spelling:  open syllables

Language:  use an apostrophe to form contractions and occurring possessives,  consult reference materials

Spelling words:

pro, go, so, she, we, flu, he, be, by, cry, dry, pry, sly, fly, why, shy, hi

Homework:

Daily:  study spelling words and read "The Pox"

Monday:  math

Tuesday:  math, get test papers signed and return on Wednesday

Wednesday:  reading, language

Thursday:  math, write spelling words 4 times each
